Rav Shach z"l misguided more than 100,000 Orthodox Jews about Chabad Chassidus - Spirituality

Rav Shach z"l misguided more than 100,000 Orthodox Jews about Chabad Chassidus

by teaching them to see Chabad through suspicion before they ever learned it from its own sources.

That was not Torah greatness.

Torah and ahavas Yisrael are united.

Rav Shach z”l was a great Rosh Yeshiva and made lots of good wonderful choices.

A person can know a lot of Torah and still fail to represent the greatness of Torah when his influence trains Jews to mistrust other Jews instead of learning, understanding, and caring about them.

Rav Shach z”l had other foolish beliefs like “give away land for peace”, “relate to secular Jewish people through hate.”

If Torah greatness means control over a yeshiva world, Rav Shach z”l was greater. If Torah greatness means opening the depth of Torah, Talmud, Chassidus, Tanach, Rambam, and Jewish thought to the whole Jewish people, Rabbi Adin Even-Yisrael Steinsaltz z”l was greater.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe z”l is in a different category of leadership and he taught more then 70,000 pages of teachings to support his worldview.

“The ego does not always tell a person to stop learning Torah. Sometimes it encourages the student to restrict his studies to abstract Talmudic subjects and to avoid those books that would inspire change.” – Rabbi DovBer of Mezritch

“Rav Shach misguided more than 100,000 Orthodox Jews about Chabad Chassidus.”
